Cheers for (a fired) Ernie; Boos for Bryce?

Show notes

Emergency Pod style! There is way too much going on in DC sports today. Bryce Harper issues a statement to all DC sports fans. Is it too little too late? Ernie Grunfeld is fired after 16, yes sixteen, 1-6 years. Unbelievable that a GM who has not won a title was able to keep a job for that long. Nevertheless he is no longer here. The Caps are about to embark on their playoff push, without star defensemen Michal Kempny. The pressure is certainly off of them, and they are the defending Stanley Cup champions so the pressure should be off. Finally the national media is reporting to watch out for the Redskins as a team still interested in Josh Rosen. Is a first round pick too steep of a price?
