Redskins Fail to Extend Kirk Cousins

Show notes

The 2017 season may be the last one for Kirk Cousins under center for the Washington Redskins. The team failed to reach an agreement with their rising star Quarterback and everything is now in place for him to leave next off-season, should he choose to. Joe and Stevie discuss all the happenings of the past few days, from Bruce Allen's press conference (2:00 - 12:30), to Kirk Cousins joining 106.7 to share his side of the story (13:45 - 20:30), and then offer the fans perspective on what will come next including best case and worst case scenarios for both Kirk and the team. Joe believes that this is the Redskins best shot to win the Superbowl since his youth and if Kirk walks next off season a lot of Redskins free agents will be doing the same effectively closing this championship window!
